Rush Construction Services has provided a Commercial Management, Cost Consultancy and Quantity Surveying Service to the Utilities Industry, mainly in the South of England, for many years and is currently registered on Approved Vendor Lists for National Grid, Scotia Gas Networks, Wales and West Utilities and many Utilities Contractors.
Throughout our first 20 years, RCS concentrated on the piped utility industry with key staff having an average of 35 years full-time experience in this field.
We continue to offer clients the reassurance of a focussed, independent and knowledgeable expertise, which, allied with our teamwork approach with client and contractor, ensures improved communications and cost control of projects.
Cost Engineering is an early function in a project. At the Planning and Feasibility Stage, we provide, for example, a budget estimate; mechanical/civil/pipeline costing; environmental and archaeological studies to Level 1; specification and materials take-off; bills of quantities and contract documentation, which are invariably followed by site measurement; monitoring, analysis and management of project costs; claims advice and settlement of final accounts.
However, we can adopt and adapt any of these functions to suit the client’s requirements and, indeed, have incorporated them within many projects for major UK Gas Utility Companies and Contractors.
We strive to be the “One-Stop Shop” for the UK Onshore Industry.
