Project Management

Rush Construction Services has carried out many and various roles in the management of pipeline and AGI related construction and maintenance, including full site and performance management/quality control; programme management and monitoring; and planning supervision/project co-ordination to ensure a correct and united approach to the Construction Design and Management Regulations. In addition to new-build projects, we are currently assisting clients in their programmed refurbishment of facilities, including pipelines, gasholders, AGIs, etc., to achieve an extended, cost-effective life cycle.

We can carry out any of the individual functions outlined below or full management of a construction project:

Design and Planning: including Feasibility Studies, AGI, Distribution Network, Mechanical & Civil, and Pipeline/Routing Design, together with Stress and Network Analyses and As-built Drawings
Cost Engineering: including Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, Specification Writing, Budget Estimating, Materials Specification, P50 Workshops, Risk Management, Dispute Resolution and Contract Administration
Land Services: incorporating Land Liaison, Topographical Surveys, Environmental Mitigation Planning and Site Surveying and Setting-out
CDM Compliance: Planning Supervision/CDM Co-ordination as defined by the CDM Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

We have over forty years full-time background in the gas pipeline and utilities industries (an accumulation of some 270 person years) which, allied to our teamwork approach, enables partners and staff (including several ex-Utility engineers) to provide valuable benefits to clients, including improved communications and control of projects, from both the design and management engineering aspects.
